Secrets For Shiny Hair

Whether you want to use a home remedy or a store bought one, there are many different ways to make your hair shiny and healthy, soft and silky. Olive oil is your friend, not just any oil, but olive oil in particular. Using olive oil by itself can have a wonderful impact on your hair. If you mix olive oil with honey and a beaten egg, you will have one sticky messy mixture that your hair will love you for. Wash your hair with your normal shampoo and rinse well. Rinsing well is a little easier said than done as you will need to work a bit to get everything out.

If you decide to use conditioner use it right after the shampoo, rinse that out well, and then make your last application your home made mixture. Blend it in your hair, paying special attention to the ends. Leave this mixture in your hair for a few minutes before rinsing it out. When you do rinse it out, make sure you rinse thoroughly, then style as usual. There are also many store bought remedies for hair care. Make sure the products you purchase are natural and organic, shea butter is an ingredient you want to look for, it’s very good at moisturizing your hair.

Hair health can also be attacked at the root. Many people use an organic sulfur mixture worked into the roots. This mixture not only cleans but it also stimulates hair growth. Before you run out and buy sulfur and put it in your hair, do your research, it isn’t as simple as rubbing the powder into your hair. You need organic sulfur and you need a certain mixture. Too much sulfur can burn your scalp.

If you want to give your hair a fresh start, make a baking soda and water mixture and wash your hair with that, or add baking soda to your favorite shampoo, this will have the effect of removing all residues and impurities and giving your hair a real fresh start. You will want to use your conditioner after this type of wash.
If you need to wash your hair and it isn’t really dirty, try massaging a good bit of your conditioner into it, leaving it there for a few minutes and rinsing it out. This will have the affect of freshening up your hair without stripping it of natural oils.

Lastly, be careful of the brush you use and throw away all of your combs. Combs can easily get caught and pull, causing damage and split ends. The really great brushes are made from real boars hair bristles as they will help to keep the oil present in your hair.
